It depends on the product. vision.app Play is a general wellness product, with no medical purpose and no CE marking. vision.app Check is a Class I medical device undergoing licensing and CE marking, and it is not yet available.

Check is in the regulatory process, undergoing licensing and CE marking as a Class I medical device. If you are an eye care professional, a company or an institution, you can request a private demo through the form on this page.
Does it replace an exam with my eye care professional?
No, quite the opposite: we work hand in hand with professionals. No vision.app product replaces an exam by an eye care professional — vision.app Check is designed precisely to recommend visiting your optometrist when appropriate. In addition, vision.app offers eye care professionals a platform where they can review the tests their patients take at home, making remote follow-up and the in-practice visit easier.
